4Thought Coaching

My areas of expertise

Having worked for 31 years within the NHS, both clinically and in corporate/leadership roles, I am well experienced in coaching, supervision (including clinical and solution focused), and mentoring.

 I have a specialised area of coaching and supervision skill, having developed and co written a restorative supervision model utilised within areas of the NHS. I also bring a wealth of clinical skills from working with families (adults and young people) as well as the multidisciplinary team and stakeholder agencies. I am particularly skilled and managing burnout, crisis support and recovery, and retirement planning.


In the corporate arena I have delivered full scale service change, creating/delivering new services, leading staff groups through systemic change, implementing new service delivery models, engaging with media and stakeholders and preparing for inspections from regulating body, and implementing robust governance structures. 


In addition to work experience, I also have a post graduate diploma in leadership and change management within child and adolescent mental health (IAPT), and a master’s of science degree in public health. I work regularly with the B4 National business network to support their work on Well-Being in particular.


I have a special interest in wellbeing, and supporting mental health and wellbeing in the workplace; having written and developed restorative supervision training within Oxford Health NHS Trust, I have co written and implemented a system to specifically support those experiencing burnout, high levels of stress, work place bullying, post incident support.

What you get from me

You will get a free ‘chemistry session’ to meet with me and see if you feel I am the right person to work with you. We will identify your specific goals together, and I will hope to understand more about you so I can deliver a bespoke coaching/mentoring/consultancy experience directly to you.

Sessions

Sessions can be online via Teams or Zoom, or the can be face to face if required.

You will receive sessions with me for 60-90 minutes, depending on your preference, and you will receive a summary of your key points, reflections, and any actions agreed.


I will send a feedback questionnaire at the end of every session and I use that information to better focus your sessions, achieving the best outcomes efficiently and effectively.

Costs

Corporate

Where corporate packages are agreed, sessions will be around £100 (depending on specific requirements).


Privately funded

For individual clients with private funding, sessions will be around £70.


Discounts

Discounts can be negotiated in certain circumstances, including public sector workers.


I do accept pro bono clients when capacity allows, so if you feel you cannot afford the sessions, do please still contact me. I can assess your situation and, if applicable to you and if I have a space, I can offer limited free of charge sessions.

What you receive

My sessions are obviously the key part of the process, and to ensure we maximise the time we have and to make you feel able to relax and engage fully, we will agree a contract (to include details on confidentiality, timings, venue, online invites, record keeping expectations etc).


After each session you will receive a short summary of the key topics discussed, and any actions we have agreed.


You will receive a feedback questionnaire after each session.


You have the option to complete a number of psychometric tests if you wish to, and these can help me understand your preferences which can focus our thinking on your natural areas of excellence.
